Identifying Ordnance Associated with
the Former Trabuco Bombing Range

Ordnance items, no matter how old, may still be dangerous.

If you see something that may be UXO, follow the "3Rs" of ordnance safety:

  • Recognize...Do not touch! Always assume that any ordnance item is dangerous!
  • Retreat...Leave the area the same way you came, without touching the object
  • Report... Call local law enforcement or 9-1-1

The pictures below illustrate some of the practice bombs and rockets recovered from the site over the years at the Trabuco Bombing Range.
