Public Involvement

Public input and effective two-way communications between the USACE and members of the local community are critical elements of this project. During the course of project activities, there will be a number of opportunities for individuals to share their opinions, become acquainted with the project team, and participate in project-related activities and events.

This page describes and provides links to upcoming public events, project-related information, and ongoing opportunities to become involved with the project. Additional activities that have been conducted during this project are described on the Current Project page.

You are invited to learn more about past and present activities at the Trabuco Bombing Range by reviewing project-related documents. Copies of a variety of plans, reports, and public communications are available at the local repository library in Rancho Santa Margarita (more information is available on the CONTACT page). These documents, along with additional historical information and photographs, also can be viewed on this Web site (see Project-Related Information and Documents).

Your questions and comments are welcome throughout the project, and can be directed to the USACE Project Manager at any time. Contact information and a "live" e-mail link are provided on the Contact page.

Draft versions of some project documents are made available for public review and comment as part of the Remedial Investigation/Feasibility Study (RI/FS) process. Review periods are announced on the Home page of this Web site, and the appropriate documents are available at the repository library and on this Web site during specified review periods.
